Ushering in a new era of multicultural worship, Nic Gonzales

Cultivating his passion for worship at a very young age, Nic
Gonzales first started playing music on the praise team at his home
church in Austin, TX. He and his cousin went on to form the latin-
influenced Dove Award winning band Salvador, which signed to Word
Records in 1999 and went on to release 10 full-length records. Known
for their chart topping singles Shine, Aware and Heaven, Salvador is a
popular crowd favorite during festival season.
With sixteen #1 radio hits, 17 albums, 7 Dove Awards, 3 RIAA
Gold Records and 3 RIAA Platinum records under her belt, international
recording artist Jaci Velasquez has certainly made a name for herself in
Christian music as well. Velasquez has been the vibrant co-hostess on
Salem Broadcasting Network’s nationally syndicated “Family Friendly
Morning Show with Doug and Jaci Velasquez” for nearly five years, while
continuing to write and perform music, among many other activities.
